The photos that are provided on all my listings are of the actual book I am selling. Most importantly the photos are of the book you will receive.
As a rule, generally books that are listed for 20.00 or less will have a photo of the front and the back cover of the book.
If a book that is listed for 20.00 or less has more than a photo of the front and back cover, this would indicate there is something I am bringing to your attention.
Extra photos of books listed that are less than 20.00 usually point out flaws / imperfections, or special features of the book.
- Spine ticks non-color-breaking
- Spine ticks color breaking
- Corner damage or excessive wear and tear.
- Creases anywhere on the front or back cover.
- Color rub against a dark front or back cover (this means white color has been exposed.)
- Color rub against white front or back cover (This means the book on white area is excessively dirty or has the appearance of discoloration.)
- Printing defects.
- Excessive spine roll
- Tears or rips
- Proof of newsstand verses direct issues
- Poly bagged comics with extra items included, such as posters, trading cards, or promotional material.
- Signatures
- Price variants.
- Books that are priced over 20.00, expensive or super rare will be supported by 6 images or more.
- Front & back covers, all 4 corners, book flaws and damage, special features, sometimes inside page(s) to illustrate the whiteness of the pages.
Return Policy
I accept returns on any Item(s) I sell, (Buyer pays for return shipping). Buyer has 14 days to ship back item with a verifiable tracking number. The 14 day return period starts when your item tracking has been verified as delivered. I do not grade comic books and graphic novels, or magazines. I do me best to describe the book and it's condition. I support my description(s) with high resolution images for full transparency to illustrate the good, the bad, and the ugly that need to be pointed out. The books offered in my Hip Comic store are stored and handled with great care.
If you still feel you’ve received a damaged or mis-shipped item, please contact Me at and I can look into this. Please be aware that I need to be contacted within two weeks of the delivery date of an order to resolve any potential order issues.
