In "The Quest of the Wicked Queen of Hearts!" , Hal Jordan stumbles on two German crooks trying to recover a stolen painting from WW II. And in the cover-featured story, "Thraxon the Powerful vs Green Lantern the Powerless", the Guardians send Earth's Green Lantern to the planet Pharma, where that world's Lantern has been defeated by Thraxon, who has a machine that drains all energy from power rings. (It's interesting that the letterer misspelled Thraxon's name on the splash page for this story!!)

I remember being utterly amazed by this issue - and Kane's artwork - when I was 14!

This is a great-looking 53-year old Silver Age GREEN LANTERN -- no creases, tears, pieces missing, or abnormal toning. The binding is strong, the colors are bright . . and the only fault we see is a bit of minor warping or bending on the back cover..
