Without this there probably wouldn't be any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Image Comics, self-publishing, and maybe even the direct market. With a print run of 3000 (some of which were burned in a warehouse fire) this particular issue was sold by Crumb himself out of his first son's (RIP) baby carriage in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco, before the invention of the comic bag. Complete, relatively affordable, and half the price it went for 10 years ago, now is a good time to buy.Always buying Crumb original art and other fine collectables.Friendly Frank's was started in 1978 with a $40 investment.
