Xmen 53 1st Barry Smith artwork (both Cover and interior art). A solid unrestored book retaining much ORIGINAL gloss.Spine is intact with no splits or tears.Spine appears structurally strong on edge, with minimal to nil edge wear.There are superficial spine stress lines noted-no stress tears through the book. Staples are FIRMLY implanted and appear in line with the black line originally printed on the spine. There is a faint 4" crease top left diagonally and a tiny loss of color top right, which may be original. Page quality is a supple Off White.In summary a glossy book with minor wear and an artists "first" from 1969!
