Most of the comics I sell are used and 50+ years old or more. The ones from the 1970s or earlier will oftentimes have a small percentage that are a bit dirty dingy Dusty or musty mainly because people used to store them in basements and it was before they kept them in plastic(I try to remove the worst ones but given the age I can't catch them all) I would call them around a 2.0 gd to 4.0 vg or below out of 10 condition. Any with specific defects listed by their issue numbers may/will ussually grade lower. See pics and judge for yourself before purchasing as grading is subjective. While we accept returns we do not accept returns for defects that are listed in the description or clearly visible in the pictures regardless of how big or small they are. It is your responsibility as a customer to review any information and pictures given before purchase. The grading is only our opinion and we are not responsible if you choose to have it professionally graded after it leaves our possession or interpret the grading scale differently. We conform to the Overstreet grading guide standards as they have been the gold standard for more than 50 years in the comics industry and are the basis for professional grading standards across the industry as a result they tend to be more strict and accurate then most "professional" grading companies. also as Hip now requires us to click a button that says condition and it auto applies information to our listings the information on the "condition" section should be ignored as it does not conform to comic book grading standards and is only included because Hip requires it even though it is extremely inaccurate! Check our hand typed notes on each item in the description section where we list defects and grade for each individual comic for accurate grading information.
