HOW WE GRADE: We scan front and back covers on a flatbed scanner to visualize every crease,fold,or tic. We ENLARGE and MAGNIFY the scan to see in detail every possible defect. We then assign a grade. For example for a 9.8 the spine can NOT have even 1 stress line (under magnification) or corner crease. We progress from there.
