1ST APPEARANCE STARJAMMERS AND OTHERS!! Spine is intact with no tears or splits;there are  stress lines including one that is a miniscule tear.  Corner creases bottom right is the major defect reducing the grade.Note that staples are intact and solidly placed. Off white to light cream supple  pages. Cover  denotes a full DEEP color strike .. NEWSSTAND scarcer issue.(Many comic stores were in business in 1978 so we assume most copies went to them meaning newsstand bar coded returnable issues were in the minority)
