XMEN 100 like so many X-men from the mid 1970's has been increasingly more difficult to turn up.This makes sense as the New Xmen were just getting started from gs 1 and x men 94.With Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum these issues were beginning to take off.This issue is unrestored and solid in appearance.In detail the spine is tight and pependicular,staples solidly in place. Overall there are about 5 FAINT stress lines noted.A slight bindery defect at the bottom spine is noted, while the top end is complete.There are NO CREASES visible at the top right corner.In short when viewed from 12 inches it appears higher grade.

This is a NEWSSTAND scarcer issue.(Many comic stores were in business in 1978 so we assume most copies went to them meaning newsstand bar coded returnable issues were in the greater minority)
