It's hard to imagine the degree of excitement that kids during the World War II era would experience as the publication date for the quarterly WORLD'S FINEST COMICS arrived! It was hugely popular, owing largely to the variety of superheroes included, the double number of pages for only 5¢ more, and the appearance of Superman and Batman TOGETHER!

Here is an especially nice copy of #10 from the Summer of 1943 when all those excited kids were out of school for 3 months and likely DEVOURING this issue! A look at the contents page shows a roster that includes SUPERMAN in "The Insect Terror!" by Siegel and Schuster, BATMAN and ROBIN in "The Man With The Camera Eyes!" by Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson, and THE BOY COMMANDOS in "Message to Murmansk!" by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby!

As the cover shows, you also get GREEN LANTERN, ZATARA, THE STAR-SPANGLED KID . . . plus, SUPER-SLEUTH McFOOEY, MARTIN OF THE MARINES, SHORTY, and BINNACLE BILL THE WHALER!!!

This is a lovely and clean copy of WORLD'S FINEST COMICS #10! We're refraining from making scans of any of the interior pages in order to NOT break the nice and strong square spine, but be assured that all 72 pages are present, there is remarkably only mild toning for a comic that is 78 years old, and the colors are bright. No pieces missing or ragged edges - but there are a few stress lines on the front cover, as well as a nearly unnoticeable pencil marking, and a small 3/4" tear on the last page.

All this is taken into consideration in conservatively grading this copy at 6.0 FN - you may even think it deserves something higher once you see it! We're offering it for $550, a price you won't find elsewhere . . and it comes with FREE SHIPPING!
