WONDER WOMAN #191 is basically a 're-telling' of WW #179, in which Diana learned that the Amazons were losing all their powers after 10,000 years on Earth, and leaving the planet! Diana, knowing that Steve Trevor was in grave danger, made the decision to stay behind and aid him.

The issue starts and ends with a framing sequence of the 'NEW' WONDER WOMAN relating the tale of her 're-birth' to the Barbarian RANAGOR, with whom she had fought to a truce in the previous issue. Diana's tale is a reprint of Issue #179, telling of her new start in life - without her powers - among earthly mortals, her mastery of martial arts, and her saving of Steve Trevor from death!

Nice 'mod' 70s art by Mike sekowsky and Dick Giordano.
