WILBUR COMICS #5 delivers 52 pages of teen humor and pretty girls with 4 stories starring WILBUR, text and activity pages, and that promising debut of KATY KEENE in "Introducing Katy Keene!". Artists include Bill Vigoda (who did the cover), Al Fagaly, Dale Goss, and one of ARCHIE's first artists - Bob Montana.

This is a solid, well-read-&-enjoyed 77-year-old copy of WILBUR COMICS #5 that still has a solid binding, supple pages without foxing, and good color. There is a bit of raggedness at the top edge of the back cover, but that's the only real fault we can find. We're grading this a 5.5 FN-, the same evaluation the national auctioneer gave it when it was purchased several years ago. Overstreet values this issue in 5.5 FN- at $805 (because of the debut of Katy Keene) . . . but we're offering it to teen humor fans for just $787 . . with FREE SHIPPING!
