This 68-page magazine from Warren Publishing followed the popular horror mags CREEPY and Eerie in 1969 as a sister publication.

In this first of 112 Warren issues, Vampirella is introduced as an inhabitant of a distant world where blood flows like rivers and sustains all life. Due to a drought, the race of Vampires is nearly wiped out, but Vampirella is able to hijack a crashed Space Shuttle and return it to Earth, where she battles foes and tells us creepy stories, like any good gorgeous horror host would!

Frank Frazetta contributed the cover art when a painting from Europe was deemed unacceptable. Vampirella introduces and finishes each of the 7 stories here, with art by Neal Adams, Reed Crandall, Mike Royer and others!

This issue is in good shape, with a strong binding and no tears, creases or pieces missing. There are some stress lines on the front and mild toning, but nothing affects the great artwork!
