Two #1s from two different publishers! CRIMSIN PLAGUE was George Pérez's baby - born in 1997 at EVENT Comics . . and then again in 2000 at IMAGE Comics! Here are both #1s for a bargain price!

Pérez took his detailed and energetic talents to EVENT Comics for the birth of his pet project CRIMSON PLAGUE, the story of a woman with blood so toxic it can kill. It's also the story of another woman out to find her -- on MARS! Although the cover touts this as a 6-issue limited series, Perez has admited that he knew the EVENT series wouldn't make it past issue #1.

This story was filled out and completed in 2 issues from IMAGE in 2000. The two main characters - DiNA Simmons (Crimson Plague) and Shannon Lower, her pursuer - are likenesses of actual models hired for the job. This #! from IMAGE basically reprints the previous incarnation, but adds 16 new pages for a total of 68 pages of attractive women in outer space!

Fantastic art, as always from George Pérez -- and he signed this copy of IMAGE's version!

Both copies are in store-fresh condition. Overstreet says $6 for the two issues . . . how about $3 and L•O•W shipping??
