Early comic book version of the famous "transforming" robots. Soundwave sneaks into and takes over an aerospace plant in order to broadcast Shockwave's evil plans to the world and Ratchet, a medical transformer, has to think like a warrior in "Warrior School." Script by Bob Budiansky and art by William Johnson & Kyle Baker. This is a first printing. All 2nd or 3rd printings have a 2nd, 3rd printing notice on inside at bottom of indicia on first/splash page. 2nd printings were done for most issues from #1 to #9.
