Here are Academy Award winners Tom and Jerry, in an issue that hit the newstands in 1953 just months after winning their 7th Oscar for Best Animated Short Film!

This is issue #106 from mid-1953. The 10-page lead story where Tom, Jerry and little Tuffy get caught up in weird bird-watching hijinx has art by the master Tom and Jerry artist, Harvey Eisenberg, who was also the head of the layout dept. at MGM on all the cat and mouse duo's animated shorts! He contributed 21 pages of his typically beautiful cartooning to this issue.

This 52-page comic also contains stories with Spike & Tyke, Wuff the Prairie Dog (by Vivie Risto), , and Bertie Bird! Ken Champin, Eisenberg's co-worker at MGM, handles tales of Flip and Dip, and Barney Bear & Benny Burro.

This is a wonderfully tight and clean copy with no tears or splits - just a now-flattened lower right corner on the front cover ! It's easily a 6.0 Fine, which Overstreet says you should dole out $15 for! We say nay! We think $10 will make both of us happy . . especially combined with our L•O•W shipping costs!
