Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's famous creation of THOR first took place in 43 issues of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY before the God of Thunder got his own title in THOR #126. Here are two issues of that long-running series in collectable 5.5 FN- condition!

In "Resurrection!" in #201, Odin has sent Heimdall and Kamorr on an Earthly quest. Meanwhile, Hela helps revive Odin, who casts the evil Pluto from Asgard. And on Blackworld, Tana Nile tells of how Ego-Prime came to be.

In issue #202, "-- And None Dare Stand 'Gainst Ego-Prime!", you get the climax of the story building over several issues: Ego-Prime has come to Earth, and not all the Asgardian's power can stop him.

Terrific John Buscema artwork throughout these 72 pages, embellished by Jim Mooney and Vince Colletta!!

These are two really nice and supple 49-year old comics, with normal toning but no foxing, and minimal stress lines and edge wear. #202 has a bit of discoloration at the top of the back cover. There is a 'hanging chad' at the top of the front cover of #201. That all leads us to grading these a composite 5.0 VG/FN. The Overstreet Guide feels $16 is appropriate for the pair - we feel $8, plus our L•O•W shipping, is even MORE appropriate! That's just $4 per comic book - lower than any other available copies here on HipComic!
