Thor (series began 1962) (#83-125 journey into mystery, 126-502) issue #125 comics in very good condition. Published by marvel.
Very good - the average used comic book. A comic in this grade shows wear, can have a reading or center crease and/or a rolled spine, but has not accumulated enough total defects to reduce eye appeal to the point that it is not a desirable copy. Discoloration, fading and even minor soiling is allowed. As much as a 1/4 inch triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge. A missing square piece, 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch, is also acceptable. Store stamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. Have no effect on this grade. Cover and interior pages can have one or two minor tears and folds and the centerfold may be loose or detached. One staple can be loose, but the cover is not completely detached. Common bindery and printing defects do not affect grade. Pages and inside covers may be brown but not brittle. Tape should never be used for comic book repair, however may very good condition comics have minor tape repair.
THOR (1962) #125
"When Meet the Immortals!" is written by Stan Lee and drawn by Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta. Guest-starring Hercules. Pride is the reason Odin saddled Thor with a mortal secret identity and as the lame Dr. Don Blake, the God of Thunder has learned humility. But it's still pride that sends Thor on a collision course with his father when, after defying Odin's wishes and revealing his true identity to Jane Foster, Thor refuses to stay in Asgard even though it is the All-Father's command to stay. After defeating Demon and retrieving the Norn Stone that gave the witch doctor inhuman strength, Thor longs to return to the side of his beloved.
Battling his way back to the Rainbow Bridge through a throng of Asgardian warriors, Thor traverses Bifrost and bests Heimdall, the guardian of the bridge. Meanwhile, on Earth Jane Foster is tired of waiting on Thor's return and her attention has been drawn to the charismatic and carefree Hercules, Prince of Power! Will jealousy join with pride to set Thor against his friend Hercules once more? Then, in Tales of Asgard, Thor and his Argonauts seek to stave off the Twilight of the Gods but find themselves beset from the air by a swarm of flying trolls that kill as "The Queen Commands!" (by Lee and Kirby).
