Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's famous creation of The MIGHTY THOR first took place in 43 issues of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY before the God of Thunder got his own title in THOR #126. Here is another Kirby-plotted masterwork from the 3rd year of his own title in collectable 5.5 FN- condition!

In "HIM!", THOR and Balder must fight and follow the mysterious being of the stars, HIM, when he startlingly emerges from his cocoon and abducts THOR's love, SIF, then vanishes to the outer reaches of space!

This is just the third appearance of the Kirby creation HIM, (who later is later resurrected as Adam Warlock), after his first two appearances in FANTASTIC FOUR #66 & #67 eight years earlier!!

You get customarily fantastically powerful and exciting JACK KIRBY artwork throughout this book-length story!

This is a solid copy of this 54-year old comic, with normal toning but no foxing, a strong binding and good color! The cover has wear, with three previous folds at lower right and a bent corner. But the interiors are perfect! We're grading this a conservative composite 6.0 FN. The Overstreet Guide feels $321 is appropriate!!!
