Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's famous creation of THOR first took place in 43 issues of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY before the God of Thunder got his own title in THOR #126. Here are two issues of that long-running series in collectable 4.0 VG condition! -- These two issues continue the tale of THE INHUMANS as the book's new back-up feature!!

In "Even in Death . . . " in #150, we see the aftermath of THOR's battle with The WRECKER - which he lost! But the God of Thunder returns to his body to face the enemy. Sif and Baldur face Karnilla and Loki. Sif is tricked into entering the DESTROYER which takes out the WRECKER but now faces the weakened THOR. In the ongoing INHUMANS back-up feature, TRITON allows himself to be captured by humans to learn more about the outside world, in "TRITON!".

Issue #151's ", , , To Rise Again!" continues the story from issue #150 where we find THOR, still at half strength, battling the DESTROYER to a standstill, not knowing that it is Sif's life force that animates the creature. Odin decides that THOR has been punished long enough and restores his full power. And the second story, the INHUMANS tale of "Inhuman At Large!", tells of how Triton escapes from the humans who captured him, and swims toward New York City!.

You get customarily terrific JACK KIRBY artwork throughout these 72 pages!

These are two pretty nice and supple 54-year old comics, with normal toning but no foxing, a few ragged page edges, and only minimal stress lines or edge wear. The cover of #150 is attached, but a bit loose. We're grading these a very conservative composite 4.0 VG. The Overstreet Guide feels $32 is appropriate for the pair - we feel $23, plus our L•O•W shipping, is even MORE appropriate!
