A near-forgotten Legion of Superheroes spin-off. Here's what Atomic Avenue says:
"In the thirtieth century, a race of alien predators was terrorizing the spaceways. Its victims were found floating in zero gravity, with precious crystals strewn around the bodies, like offal. Even heroes like Quantum Queen, Celebrand, Immorto, and other members of the Legion of Super-Heroes fell before them.
Doctor Clonus, a Controller, discovered the Legionnaires’ devastated ship and managed to clone new bodies from the remaining tissue. At the same time, he made slight alterations to their genetic structure. As a result Quantum Queen, Immorto (Re-Animage), Psyche, Elvo (Elvar), Dartalg, and Ornitho (Aviax) got a second chance at life. Clonus implanted the memories of their first lives into the new clone bodies, and gave them enhanced super-powers. They would need these if they were to have any hope of avenging their own deaths. At the same time, they would discover that their “savior” was not all he appeared to be…"
