The Daily Bugle, now co-owned by Norman Osborn and J. Jonah Jameson, launches a new round of attacks on the web-slinger after video emerges of Spider-Man's fight with Norman last issue! And it doesn't take long for public opinion to turn against the spectacular one! The new Kraven notices the bad publicity and decides to fill the superhero role for a little while before launching his own assault on Spider-Man! Oh no, is Kraven planning to take the wall-crawler's "place" again...like his predecessor did a few years ago? Those were dark days indeed. Cameo appearances by Mary Jane Watson, Betty Brant, Flash Thompson, Jill Stacy, Anna Watson, and Joe Robertson. (Notes: The second Kraven (aka Alyosha Kravinov) is the son of the original Kraven (aka Sergei Kravinoff.) This issue features a gatefold cover.)
