Here's the very first issue of THE SAVAGE SHE-HULK, the only issue in its 25-issue run to be written by Stan Lee and illustrated by John Buscema. Lee purportedly created the character when he saw that producers of TV's "The Six Million Dollar Man" had created a female version - "The Six Million Dollar Woman - and was concerned that the producers of TV's "The HULK" would follow their lead. He didn't want to lose the rights to the possibility of a 'SHE-HULK' being owned by TV producers, so created it first!

In "The She-Hulk Lives!", Bruce Banner visits his cousin Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who is defending a gangster against Nick Trask and his gang. When Jennifer is gunned down, Banner gives her a blood transfusion which accidentally turns her into SHE-HULK, a somewhat milder version of Banner's HULK condition. Jennifer becomes a large, powerful, green-hued version of herself; however, unlike Banner, she still largely retains her personality: in particular, she retains the majority of her intelligence and emotional control, although like HULK she is still susceptible to outbursts of temper and becomes much stronger if enraged.

This is a nicely fresh and near-pristine copy with no faults or blemishes that we can see! A true 8.0 VF rating for a 41-year old comic! Overstreet suggests a price of $30.00. . . but we're going to UN-HULK that price tag down to just $18. . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
