Full of angry action, issue #289 of THE INCREDIBLE HULK features the big green guy going up against A.I.M., MODOK and The ABOMINATION in "A.I.M. For The Top!", written by Bill Mantlo, a cover by Al Milgrom, and illustrated by Sal Buscema, with the always-handsome inks of Joe Sinnott.

Betty Ross, to her horror, discovers the treason of her father, Thunderbolt Ross, who has delivered the HULK into the clutches of MODOK, A.I.M., and The ABOMINATION. One man she loves has sent the other love of her life to almost certain doom!

This is a solid 41-year old copy of #289 with a bent corner and several rough edges, with minute pieces missing. Also a couple of tiny tears on the back cover . .contributing to an overall 'tiredness' from repeated enjoyment!  But it's a Fine+ reading copy!

We'll grade it a 4..5 VG+ . .for which the Overstreet Price Guide suggests a sales tag of $3.50. But we say $2.50 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
