The GREEN HORNET - the alter ego of newspaper publisher Britt Reid - was first created in 1936 as an action-packed, crime-fighting radio show. Over the years, the character has appeared in a wide variety of movies, serials, comics, and of course, the popular 1967 TV series starring Van Williams - with Bruce Lee as the GREEN HORNET's martial arts expert and sidekick, KATO, in the role that brought him international fame!

Here is issue #2 of Gold Key's 3-issue run of GREEN HORNET comic books. From the front and back cover photos, to the great art by comic great Dan Spiegel, "The Threat of the Red Dragons" is an exciting story of a gang of toughs in 'Chinatown' that is extorting money from people by threatening their relatives still residing back home in Communist China, and the GREEN HORNET finds that identifying their leader is easier said than done.

This 58-year old comic has definitely seen better days, and sports creases, a bit of foxing, and dirty scuffs. But the binding is strong, there are no tears or pieces missing, and Dan Spiegel's great artwork is unaffected!

The Overstreet Price Guide suggests that this issue in this condition of 2.0 GD should command a price of $14 . . . but we think you'll enjoy reading this in the back seat of the BLACK BEAUTY for just $7!
