The Face #2 (1941) NOTE: WORLD WAR II SAW MILLIONS OF COMICS DONATED BY PATRIOTIC KIDS TO THE WAR EFFORT DURRING FREQUENT PAPER-DRIVES!!!! MOST OF THE BOOKS FROM THIS ERA ARE LONG GONE AND FINDING ANY ABOVE 'VERY GOOD" CONDITION IS SUPER-RATE!!! WE HAVE PRICED THIS BOOK AT A PREMIUM DUE TO THIS INCREDIBLE SCARCETY! IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!!This book has deep rich color and very nice eye-appeal on this all- time- classic 2nd "The Face" cover with basically a spine roll that pulls the back portion of the book in a tad from the front half the only key defect along with a little light wear appropriate grade. With cream pages and slight heavy cream inside covers. The book is well attached the spine and the centerfold with one war-time staple which was due to general scarcity of all high-need items like metals. We have adjusted the grade accordingly.
