"The Terrible Toll of the Taskmaster" begins where the previous issue left off - with TASKMASTER holding the kidnapped YELLOWJACKET, ANT-MAN, and THE WASP in his lair.  As super-villains far too often do, TASKMASTER starts blathering about his background and what turned him evil.

It turns out he was born with "Photographic Kinesthetic Movement Memory" and can note, remember, and duplicate any type of action or movement.  So he has watched hours and hours of footage of THE AVENGERS in battle and can now duplicate whatever special talents they have.  That's what made him evil - well, that and the pursuit of ill-gotten gains!

He has opened a whole academy, teaching his methods to young Villain Wannabes, but even with all that muscle, they get handled and subdued by THE AVENGERS, who arrive to rescue their teammates!

This is a nice copy of this 43-year old comic, with a strong binding, supple pages, minimal toning and good color (despite the use of 1980's failed Flexographic Printing experiment!).   We're very conservatively grading it a 7.0 FN/VF, for which Overstreet suggests a price of $47.  We're going to make this issue a bit more affordable for you at just $30 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping of only $2!
