Roy Thomas weaves another grand tale, on the heels of his popular 'KREE/SKRULL WARS' in this title, and artist Barry Windsor-Smith continues his great depiction of the World's Mightiest Heroes in his third issue in a row!

Traveling to the BLACK KNIGHT' castle for aid, everyone who’s ever been an AVENGER arrives, including even the HULK who is convinced to join the fight. There they learn the details of ARES' plan to rule all beings after crystallizing all Olympian gods but HERCULES, who he needs to destroy personally. Half of the AVENGERS use a special portal to swarm into Olympus and a true Battle Royale ensues -- at the same time evil agents of ARES use the portal in an opposite manner to attack the other AVENGERS on Earth!

Even if you know all the AVENGERS, you'll need a scorecard to keep track of all that is going on!!

This is a nicely fresh and pristine copy with no faults or blemishes that we can see - other than some cryptic hand stamped numerals near the spine on the back cover! An obvious 8.0 VF for this 39-year old comic! Overstreet suggests a price of $62. We'd like to suggest a price tag of just $41 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
