STEVE DITKO, the creator and main artist for Spider-Man comics since 1962, handles pencils, inks and plotting here for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #9, as the Wall-Crawler faces off with ELECTRO and his cronies!

Electro decides to break some other criminals out of jail so they can help him with his crime spree. Spider-Man must balance taking care of Aunt May, who is in the hospital, and capturing Electro.

This is a pretty decent copy of SPIDER-MAN #9, despite a cover datestamp, fairly ragged edges, and ball-point pen writing on the first page. Those are the main detractors, but the binding is strong, there are no tears or missing pieces and the pages have normal toning. Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 3.5 VG- at $197 (more than the immediate issues before and after it) . . . but we think $150 is much more reasonable, and gives you this issue at by far the best price on HipComic! Plus FREE shipping!!
