Here are back-to-back issues of TALES TO ASTONISH - #88 & #89 , so that you get both characters cover-featured - Sub-Mariner on the even-numbered issue and The Hulk on the odd-numbered issue!

Here's what you get in #88: in "A Stranger Strikes From Space!", a giant alien robot accidentally falls out of a passing spaceship and into the depths of the ocean. Attuma decides to use this turn of good fortune to destroy Namor and Atlantis. Art by Sub-Mariner's creator, Bill Everett. And in "Boomerang and the Brute!", when Hulk turns out not to be the total villain he has been painted to be, the President decides to pardon him. Of course, Boomerang picks that exact moment to secretly enrage the jade giant, causing him to go on another rampage and becoming a menace again. Hulk fights the new and improved (but still fashion-impaired) Boomerang.

In #89, Namor continues to struggle against the alien robot and Attuma's evil plans in "The Prince and The Power!" Hulk is subjugated by the arrival on earth of The Stranger in " . . Then There Shall Come a Stranger!" Great artwork by Gil Kane!

Both these copies grade at a 4.0VG for these issues, with normal wear, but nice cover gloss. #88 has most of its lower right corners chewed 1/4" or less, but nothing affects the art. Overstreet suggests $25 for the pair in this condition . . . and we counter-suggest $18 plus our L•O•W $2 shipping fee! Namor and Hulk await you!
