This annual reprints stories from the regular edition of "Tales of the Zombie and includes "Alter of the Damned" (Script by Steve Gerber and Roy Thomas and art by John Buscema and Tom Palmer), "Zombie" (Script by Stan Lee and art by Bill Everett) and "Night of the Walking Dead" (Script by Steve Gerber and art by John Buscema and Syd Shores), the origin of the zombie from issue number one; "Twin Burial" from issue number two (Script by Chuck Robinson and art by Ralph Reese); "Warrior's Burden" from issue number three (Script by Tony Isabella and art by Vicente Alcazar); "Jilimbi's Word" from issue number three (Script by Doug Moench and art by Enrique Badia); "Death's Bleak Birth" from issue number five (Script by Doug Moench and art by Frank Springer); and "A Second Chance to Die" from issue number seven (Script by Carl Wessler and art by Alfredo Alcala).
