As any lover of comics know, Action Comics is the longest running title ever published. Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman, was published on April 18, 1938 (cover dated June 1938). The series recently ended its run with issue #904, released on August 24, 2011 (cover dated October 2011).
So, in order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the debut of superman, and the upcoming release of man of steel, we have put together a collection of the finest action comics. What you see here is a collection of 37 comic books from the late 1980s and the early 1990s (some even later).
This collection contains the following 37 issues:
