In "The Man Who Owned Superboy's Costume!", Clark Kent tosses his costume a half-mile away into the City Dump so that he can go swimming with Lana Lang without being found out. But a hobo finds the costume, appropriates it, and winds up auctioning it off. But SUPERBOY goes through some elaborate shenanigans and eventually gets it back!

In "The Doom That Destroyed Clark Kent!", when the people of Smallville see Clark Kent consumed by a crystal monster, SUPERBOY as to face the problems of dealing with the monster and resurrecting Clark.

And in the cover story, "The Kryptonite Kid", a young man and his dog are released from their 5th Dimension jail, come after SUPERBOY and have him dead to rights, but agree to spare his life if he will let them kill KRYPTO He appears to agree, but instead has KRYPTO lead them through the crimson cosmic cloud that turns Green Kryptonite into Red K. The Kryptonite Kid and his dog radiate Red Kryptonite wavelengths now, and are reformed. After shaking hands with SUPERBOY the Kid returns with his dog to space. But SUPERBOY knows that the Red K radiations will wear off in time.

This is an exceptionally nice copy, with a strong binding, and nice white pages with bright colors. The only drawback we see are some small scuff marks on the cover, so we conservatively grade this nice clean and sturdy issue at a 6.0 FN and save you over a third off Overstreet's valuation of $30 with our price of $18 . . plus our always L•O•W shipping charge!
