Here's a good-looking copy of SUPERBOY #113, from the Summer of 1964! Back when the SUPERMAN family of comics were edited by Mort Weisinger, and the stories were FUN!

Case in point: "Dad Kent's Boyhood!", in which Clark as SUPERBOY goes back to 1900 to do research for a school play about the founding of Smallville High Scholl.  There, he observes the young Jonathan Kent and learns that he was indeed raised by a strong disciplinarian...but, not he thought he was!

You also get "The Superboy of 800 Years Ago!", penned by Otto Binder and illustrated by George Papp.  When Professor Ralston uncovers a SUPERBOY robot over 800 years old, the BOY OF STEEL takes a trip into the past to learn its secret.

You also get a very complete two-page text piece entitled "The Superboy Legend" that will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the Lad of Steel!

This is a pretty nice 59-year old Silver Age SUPERBOY -- no creases, tears, or abnormal toning. The binding is strong, the colors are bright. The staples are slightly rusty and someone was doing arithmetic writing on the back cover sometime in past decades!. We conservatively grade this copy a 6.0 FN. . . which Overstreet values at $27 . . . but we're pricing it at just $22 . . with our SUPER-LOW shipping!
