As told by Master Ret-Con Genius Roy Thomas, this issue gives the reader a comprehensive history of the Lord of Atlantis, from his boyhood in Atlantis through his Golden Age appearances and WWII exploits, to his battles with the Fantastic Four and his time as a homeless man in new York City - all seen through Namor's memories as he lies trapped beneath tons of ice by the villain DESTINY! John Buscema dynamically depicts the turmoil of Namor's life and battles, with an inking assist from Frank Giacoia.
