Following the 2021 Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics (6th Edition), we grade this as VF- (7.5). This item is an above average item that shows very minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean; eye appeal remains outstanding. Item looks as if it has been carefully handled. There may be a slight accumulation of minor bindery or printing defects; one or two more than a VF item. The cover is mostly flat with minimal surface wear beginning to show, with slight yellowing or tanning allowed, possibly some wear at corners. Inks are generally bright with slight to moderate reflectivity. A 1/4” to 1/2” bend with very slight color break is allowed. Penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates may be present. Apart from minor spotting (foxing) usually at the edges, there is no soiling, staining or other discoloration. The spine is nearly flat with a possible minor to moderate color break. Some discoloration of the staples is allowed. Accumulation of slight staple tears and a few minor stress lines may be present. There may be slight rust migration. Paper is cream to tan, and supple. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold is mostly secured. Any minor interior tears are in the margin.
