Synopsis:
The 70's were Kirby's golden era. Among his incredible and far-too-brief contributions to comic book history were the New Gods, Cap and the Falcon, and the Demon. This short-lived series introduced an absolutely new Sandman who creeped around in people's dreams and fought incrediblly weird villains. The concept resurfaced in Infinity Inc., where the Golden Age Hawkman's son, Hector Hall, inherited the mantle of the Sandman. Then, Neil Gaiman worked this fantastic version of the Sandman into the late 80's (Vertigo) Sandman featuring Morpheus. Great fun!
