REAL SCREEN COMICS was the predecessor to 'The Fox and the Crow' getting their own comic. It ran for 128 issues from the Spring of 1945 to May 1959. The Fox and the Crow were the headliners, supported by Tito and His Burrito, as well as Flippity and Flop, the cat and canary chase comedy.

This 52-page issue, #32 from October of 1950, contains a record 10 'Fox and the Crow' stories all attributed to Jim Davis who was the master Fox & Crow artist for over 20 years, a 'Tito and His Burrito' story by the über-talented Al Hubbard, 2 text pages, and a 'Flippity and Flop' adventure with lively Bob Wickersham art! Plus half a dozen house ads and cartoon advertisements! And laughs too many to count!

This copy is tight and well-cared-for without any creases or tears, and no foxing. It does have a 'barely there' crease and a 1/4" edge tear on the front cover = leading to a pretty conservative 6.0 FN. This condition - for this issue - lists for $38 in Overstreet! We think $20 is more like it, even though this is the only REAL SCREEN #32 on HipComic!

Coupled with our L•O•W shipping fees, it's a chuckle-fest too good to pass up!
