REAL SCREEN COMICS was the predecessor to 'The Fox and the Crow' getting their own comic. It ran for 128 issues from the Spring of 1945 to May 1959. The Fox and the Crow were the headliners, supported by Tito and His Burrito, and Flippity and Flop, the cat and canary chase comedy.

This 52-page issue, #25 from August of 1949, contains 6 'Fox and Crow' stories (including the only one ever published with artwork by animator Jack Bradbury!), a'Tito and His Burrito' story with artwork by Al Hubbard, 2 text pages, and 2 Flippity and Flop' adventures with artwork by Bob Wickersham, plus half a dozen house ads and cartoon advertisements! And chuckles too many to count!

This copy is tight and well-cared-for without any creases or tears, and is in really nice shape for a 74 yea-old comic! There are a few minor nicks on the cover. We grade it a conservative 7.0 FN/VF. This condition - for this issue - lists for $59 in Overstreet. We think $24 is more like it, coupled with our L•O•W shipping fees!
