RAWHIDE KID #86 delivers 36 pages of hard-ridin', gun-slingin', rootin tootin' action with art by those hombres Jack Kirby and Dick Ayres!  This is a particularly good issue, as it contains Stan Lee's and Jack Kirby's origin story of THE RAWHIDE KID from 1960!

You also get two more solid Western adventures starring 'The Kid'.

"Beware! The Rawhide Kid" is Lee and Kirby's introduction of the KID, Johnny Bart, who, even as a boy was an adept gun marksman, taught by his adopted father Ben Bart. When Johnny returns home from an errand he finds his father shot to death and immediately goes on a manhunt for the culprits.  He finds them in a saloon in town and makes short work ending their criminal careers with his superior gunslinging!  He leaves town in a rush, calling himself now 'The RAWHIDE KID'.

This issue also contains two more stories by Kirby and Ayers from that 1960 issue: "When the Rawhide Kid Turned Outlaw!" and "Stagecoach to Shotgun Gap!".  Do those sound like great Western tales or what??

This is a mighty fine copy of a 42-year old RAWHIDE KID, with a strong binding, supple pages, glossy covers and no apparent defects or blemishes. There are no ragged edges. We're grading it at a 8.0 VF , and we're going to beat Overstreet's valuation of $21 and offer it to you for just $14 . . . and paired with our always-L•O•W shipping, it absolutely can't be beat!!
