FOUR COLOR #295 was devoted to PORKY PIG, and his appearance in 5 different stories gives you a generous helping of ham! The cover is a clever 'animated' activity, as seen in the instructions on the back cover for how to make Porky raise and lower his top hat!

The cover story, "President Porky", finds Porky elected President of Upper Gorgonzola, and the intrigue he faces from The Dunderbunk, a group who want to restore the old monarchy of King Schmaltz! Sylvester the cat tries to help out, in this 24-page adventure!

Among the other stories is "The New Swimming Hole" by my favorite cartoonist Jack Bradbury, wherein Porky and Bugs run into all sorts of problems when they try to dig a swimming pool in Porky's yard!

This is a wonderfully tight and clean copy with mildly toned pages. The only real blemish is two small pieces out of the top of the front cover. It's easily a 4.5 VG+, which Overstreet values at $23. We think $12 will make both of us happy . . especially combined with our L•O•W shipping costs!
