When DELL PUBLISHING bought the licensing rights to the MGM series of comedy shorts known as the OUR GANG COMEDIES (and in later years called 'THE LITTLE RASCALS'), they entrusted the managing of the OUR GANG COMICs series of comic books to famous animator and cartoonist WALT KELLY in 1942. Here is a beautifully-preserved copy of issue #22 in the series' 59-issue run.

Over 52 wonderful pages (with no ads!), between front and back covers by Walt Kelly, you get the 14-page lead story starring the OUR GANG kids, and illustrated by Kelly himself. The 'OUR GANG' film cast (Froggy, Janet, Buckwheat, Happy, and Mickey) get into a string of mishaps and misunderstandings, accompanied by their pet goat, Julip!

Other stories starring MGM cartoon stars Tom and Jerry, Flip and Dip, and Barney Bear & Benny Burro illustrated by Disney great Carl Barks!

It's hard to believe an 78-year-old comic can look this good!
