Here's a bit of an oddity ------ Harvey Comics stepped aside in the mid '60s from Casper and Hot Stuff and Richie Rich, and dipped its toe into the Space/Mystery/Adventure format with BLAST-OFF . . which ran for all of ONE ISSUE!

Here is the sole relic of that experiment, showcasing the art of Jack Kirby, Joe Simon, Reed Crandall and Al Williamson (Harvey went BIG for this unusual experiment!)!

"The Three Rocketeers" are featured on the cover and in the lead story by Kirby and Williamson as a trio of unlikely teammates explore mysteries of the moon in both "Lunar Goliaths" and "The Great Moon Mystery!"

Then Al Williamson and his gorgeous art take over with "The Space Court" and "The Little Earth". All the stories are a bit of a throwback to the 1950s sensibilities for science fiction.

This copy admittedly has seen better days, with its writing on the cover, dimples and ragged edges, . . but the interior art is unblemished, and it's fun to behold several of comics' giants doing top-notch work! Overstreet says $12 for this grade, but we'll settle for $4, plus our L•O•W shipping . . and FREE postage for additional purchases!
