This is HUGE! Literally! DC calls this a 'Tabloid Treasury Size' and it's twice the size of a regular comic book at 10" x 13"!

From the Fall of 1981, it's the 27th issue of DC SPECIAL SERIES, but only the second to be in this giant format! Len Wein and José Luis Garcia-Lopez offer up a pulse-pounding story and absolutely gorgeous art, as Batman and the Hulk first face off as combatants, but then work together to thwart the bad guys, which include The Joker. . and The Shaper of Worlds!

The book is too big to fit on my scanner, so the images here are photos . . but honestly, nothing would do justice to the experience of holding this giant work of art in your hands and getting lost in the beauty of each page!

This copy has survived its 39 years well, there is the slightest curve to the bottom right corner, but it easily passes as an 8.5 VF+. Overstreet, in their infinite wisdom, suggests this is worth $30 . . . we think $18 sounds better! And there is not another one of these on HipComic right now! So dive right in!
