In 2000, DC Comics reprinted some of the best and most vital examples of the comic book art form in their archives. All of the approximately 90 issues in this series had a special gold-foil-stamped logo on the cover denoting the reprint as a 'Millennium Edition'. I believe they conducted a huge fan poll to decide which issues from the past deserved reprinting.

One of those chosen was 1949's Superboy #1. In "The Man Who Could See Tomorrow!", Brandar the Great, at a party attended by young Clark Kent, he predicts that Margo Griffiths, then a classmate of Clark's but now a young nurse in Metropolis, would 'cease to exist' on her 21st birthday. The focus turns to Superman in the present and a surprise ending,

Also included is the story "The Boy Vandals", wherein Superboy teaches the young hoodlums of the 'Smash and Grab Gang' a lesson! There's even a 3rd story - "Superboy Meets Mighty Boy!" where a young boy is duped by an unscrupulous promoter into thinking he's stronger than Superboy.
