In 2000, DC Comics reprinted some of the best and most vital examples of the comic book art form in their archives. All of the approximately 90 issues in this series had a special gold-foil-stamped logo on the cover denoting the reprint as a 'Millenium Edition'.

This listing is for the reprint of 1973's first issue of PLOP! - a weird and wonderful return of the Humor genre to DC that seemed to be an attempt to emulate MAD Magazine! Sergio Aragónes contributed the bulk of the cartoons herein, and as the world's fastest cartoonist, it probably took him all of 37 minutes!

There is also fine work by Berni Wrightson, in a 'Vault of Horrors' vein, George Evans and Alfredo Alcala. There is a neat text page written by Paul Levitz about how the decision was made to publish a book like PLOP! and where that title came from! The book is 'hosted' by recurring characters Cain and Abel and the Old Witch! All this inside a cover by 'Master of the Weird' Basil Wolverton!
