Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's famous creation of THE MIGHTY THOR first took place in 43 issues of JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY . . . but he started a new era with his own name on the cover in HUGE letters and this is the 11th installment!

In "The Thunder God and the Troll!", wicked Geirrodur's trolls capture Sif and lure Thor after her. Thor must battle Ulik, mightiest of the Rock Trolls.

And in the customary 'Tales of Asgard' back-up feature, Thor and his companions find the dying Saguta who is a countryman of Hogun's. Hogun swears vengeance on Mogul, lord of the Mystic Mountain, who did this, in "The Tragedy of Hogun!"

This is a nice copy - the binding is strong, there are no tears or ragged edges, and the pages have normal toning, but no foxing. There is an almost unnoticeable date stamp on the front cover. Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 5.0 VG/FN at $23 . . . but we think $12 is much more reasonable, and gives you this issue at the best price on HipComic! (And our mere $2 shipping fee is another good reason to take the god of thunder home!)
