Based on two shorts in the Tom and Jerry series of theatrical cartoons, MGM's THE TWO MOUSEKETEERS follows the exploits and conflicts between M'ssieur Poosycat Tom and the two tiny swordsmen Jerry and Tuffy in a medieval France setting.  There are castles, knights, a fussy King . . and an occasional dragon!  7 issues of this premise appeared under the Dell Four Color banner, before becoming a series of their own - MOUSE MUSKETEERS ran for 21 issues from 1957 - 1960.

This 1953 appearance is their very first in comic books - it is based on the animated theatrical short "The Two Mouseketeers" from just the previous year. 16 wonderful pages of new Harvey Eisenberg brilliant artwork - the same cartoonist who was chief of layout on the Tom and Jerry animated cartoons! 

This is a very nice 67 year old copy, marred only by a largely unnoticeable mild front cover crease -- that leads to our judgement of a 5.0 VG/FN rather than something higher.  Overstreet says $23 . . but you can grab it from us for $13!  Couple it with our always L•O•W shipping prices and you'll say "Sacré Bleu!"
