Collects the earliest issues of the classic series predating the Marvel era! About every issue has at least one Kirby & Ditko story, along with contributions from Heck, Reinman, and even one by John Buscema & Burgos.

All of the stories are short (most five pages) and center on aliens, ghosts, monsters, or space travel. The covers are gorgeous, with the best interior art being by Ditko, Heck, & Reinman. As someone who never appreciated Don Heck before, I really enjoyed the younger artist with his distinct portrayal of faces and extra touches of detail on clothing. Kirby's work is great, but also gives you the feeling that he was producing the work in the minimum amount of time.

TTA would go on to feature Ant-Man & the Wasp, and later Hulk and Sub-Mariner. The Incredible Hulk claimed the numbering with #102.
