"Earlier this month, Marvel Studios confirmed a sequel movie to Captain Marvel. The movie is titled, _The Marvels _and it is slated for November 11, 2022. There are many important details and rumors concerning this movie that fans and collectors should be aware of. In addition, I will discuss _Marvels _keys that could provide great value as we get closer to the premiere date. It is never too early to start hunting down keys for upcoming Marvel movies. The _Captain Marvel_ film starring Brie Larson as the lead was a huge success for Marvel Studios. The movie grossed over 1 billion dollars at the worldwide box office. The movie’s plot focuses on the origin of the character and how she acquired her powers. Set in the 1990s, it provided a nostalgia feeling for fans, while the film served as the last story to show on the big screen before the _Infinity War_ movies.

Even though the Captain Marvel movie made billions at the box office, the announced sequel wasn’t confirmed until years after the original came out. Thus, the rumors from Marvel and fans about what could happen in the movie are starting to spark. One common rumor shared by the fans and Marvel Studios is they are not in love with Brie Larson portraying the character of Captain Marvel. In fact, it is to the point where rumors are spilling that she could be possibly recast or killed off in the planned sequel movie. It’s sad, since years ago Marvel Studios planned on passing the torch to Brie Larson in leading the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after favorite heroes, Iron Man and Captain America, have departed. The sequel has confirmed the inclusion of two fairly new characters that are breaking their debut in 2021. Monica Rambeau, who played an important role in the Disney Plus series, _WandaVision_. Her positive reaction with the fans has catapulted her to be included in the Marvels movie.

The future is also here and getting younger! Iman Vellani, who will portray the character of Kamala Khan, is a teenager who will be receiving her own Disney Plus television show, called _Ms. Marvel_. Marvel’s direction of pushing to ethnic diversity and pushing forth younger characters is their plan for the MCU. With that, it is expected that these three characters are to all appear in the upcoming movie and each will play a subsequent role in how the movie will play out.
