Marvel Comics Spider-Man #1 main Direct Market cover First Print, with $1.75 cover price. (Copies removed from printed bags have "1 Aug" but no price, which was on the bag.
Story, art and cover by Todd McFarlane. After hitting his stride in Amazing 298-328 or thereabouts, he got to move over into the adjective-less new Spider-Man starting with #1. "Torment" starring the Lizard starts 5-issue run.
We have several identically near mint copies, from 9.6-9.8.
